Earring hooks are silver plated (lead and nickel-free). I spray the earring hooks with anti tarnishing jewellery spray to prolong their wear and make them suitable for those with sensitive ears.

Earring hooks are also available in sterling silver which I recommend for those with particularly sensitive ears or metal allergies.
